Weekend prompt: What’s working? What’s not working? Let us know…
I rewatched the May webinar and the just finished the Loving Essence video again because I felt like I need to engage in this month more before we move on. I’m going to listen to the call next and practice the leadership tool this weekend. I had sooo many takeaways from the loving essence video, I took a lot of notes for a 9 min talk 🙂 I practiced seeing the loving essence in everyone I walked past at Walmart and it brought a smile to my face seeing everyone as these little souls sent here and seeing that we’re all on the same journey just looking to be loved and accepted. Not coming from a place of judgement with people closest to me, especially my mom, but seeing that she’s just doing the best she can. And then starting to feel that way about myself too. And giving others the dignity of their own process and not feeling like people need me to fix them when really I just used that as a way to avoid dealing with my own stuff. I think I’m going to carry the loving essence pdf around on a card or something as a reminder. 🙂
These tools are really life-changing. If you just spent the rest of your life Seeing the Loving Essence in yourself and others, you would be doing a HUGE service to humanity. Everyone is here working out their own spiritual curriculum and life lessons. Great learnings Jane…
Since I am new, I was just looking around at things yesterday and came across the loving essence video. I loved it and plan to practice it. I took a ton of notes as well. To connect with someone on that level and to just allow them dignity on their own journey just touches my soul. I am a person that tends to feel others pain so I shouldn’t find ti too hard to see their loving essence. It will probably the hardest to see my own. Practice practice practice will be the name of the game for that.
We are always practicing loving ourselves so that we can support others in doing the same:)
Loving Essence – I certainly put it into practise with a loved one last Sunday. I received a very disturbing phone call that could have sent me on a 6 month sulking mission but I chose to see the loving essence in this person. They are a spirit being have a human experience as well. Forgiveness came quickly as I was able to see they were speaking from a place of great pain. It was not mine. It belonged to them. I was simply the easy target for that phone call. They realized the error of their way and reached out quickly to apologize. I loved on them and forgave quickly. I was able to see their loving essence <3
Impressive…you kept your stuff separate from their stuff. Of course, judgment or criticism can sting a bit but when we separate out what’s truly going on, we don’t have to take someone else’s stuff. Nice work!
I love that Misty. I think situations will always present themselves that will allow us to put loving essence into practice. I really love this concept and can see how beneficial it can be for us as well as others. I am excited to practice it.
I’m having difficulty and resistance stepping into myself as a leader. I never saw myself as any sort of leader until I became a father and that’s still a struggle, trying to guide my kids through a world that literally still bewilders and frightens me…. Things that are working are positive projection which is such a great turnaround from the negativity I’d always associated projection with. It supports me in bringing compassion to my negative projections as I recognize something in myself for which I judge another person… Also loving myself is so much easier when I can acknowledge my own loving essence. I’ve always resonated with giving others the dignity of their own process and want to deepen in this practice moving forward.
Always remember to give yourself the dignity of your own process too Wes. And never forget to love yourself through this process.
Over the past year I have focused on me and my inner self. I have discovered new things about myself. Discovering new things about myself will be a life long process. For the most part, I am able to forgive myself and love myself, inside and outside, consciously and subconsciously, unconditionally love all aspects of self. Focusing on the Loving Essence of others has changed me and helps me to be less judgmental and jumping to conclusions. By loving myself I am better equipped to help others!
Definitely able to help others more and better when we are loving ourselves.
