    I know I need to check in more, but I’m going to get in the habit!! I need to get more organized in my life in general. I want to organize my office area and my business stuff. I have nothing on my schedule for my independent business and that is really stressing me out and making me feel like a failure. 😞 But I guess the first step is getting organized. And I need to decide if I want to get a job or go back to school. I’m also getting nervous for surgery I’m having next week. My head is a mess.

    • Miranda, I recommend picking a few days a week that you check-in so that you can form the habit. You are right on point with recognizing that it is a habit! What days would be good to check in? Also, I put things in my google calendar so a reminder pops up for me. I, literally, have my self-care practice on my calendar so that I get a reminder to do it!

    • Acknowledging all the life circumstances you are going through as well. This is when support and accountability are a must!

    • It is a habit. 🙂 … I don’t check in every day but make it a point to check in on the days I work from home, of which there are three. It’s enough for me where I feel connected without the stress of feeling like I “have to” do it every day. For me, checking in 2 to 3 ti es a week, I look forward to it.
