Today’s prompt: What’s been your favorite part of the Recovery Life Lab so far? I may ask your permission to use these ‘favorites’ as testimonials for the lab. I’m doing a special offer next week for folks who haven’t yet joined. I’m celebrating 11 years next Thursday! So excited:)
Seems like just yesterday, it was ten, Congrats!… What I appreciate about RLL is that it’s a space for me to express my Self, authentically and vulnerably, and, that by having this space and making use of it, I’m bringing this same authenticity and vulnerability to who I’m being in my day to day. It’s also a conscious community that I use consciously and intentionally to identify areas that need attention, love and consciousness. I love the daily prompts that bring conscious awareness to areas of my process related to the topic being focussed on in the lab. I engage them openly, without judgment, and seem to always find how they’re applicable to my process where they may not have seemed to be initially. Also love reading the processes of other conscious people who are opening themselves to being their best Selves. The webinars and zoom meetings are a great way to connect and learn and engage what is being brought forth in the lab. Finally, I love having access to a highly inspirational coach and mentor who lives her process, walks her talk and tells me what I need to hear and challenges my old conditioned patterns of thinking that keep me stuck.
Something I appreciate about you and your process Wes is you are so willing to engage and find the value for yourself. You bring up such a great point that we don’t always initially see the benefit. That’s precisely the point. Can we engage even when we don’t know what the value will be? Can we engage and through the process find the value? This is a metaphor for life as well. Can we engage life and find the value?! How you do one thing is how you do everything:)
P.S. So many awesome nuggets in your sharing Wes! I’m forever grateful for our connection.
Me too! Incredibly grateful
Congrats on 11 years!! That’s such an accomplishment and an inspiration! One of my favorite parts of Recovery Life Lab is the engagement and practice. It’s one thing to learn the concepts and even about the tools, but RLL provides a way to engage the tools and thereby actually see the benefits unfold in your daily life. It’s amazing to me that things that I may have heard or read about over the last few years I’m now understanding on a deeper level because I’m engaging the process and living them, if that makes sense.. Also, like Wes said, having access to a coach who’s been through this process and can give personal examples and make this information relatable is incredibly valuable!! And being able to share our process & experiences with others on the same path is great, I don’t feel so alone in the journey. Appreciate this space & all of you so much 🙂
I think to be specific, I like these daily prompts the most. Because it keeps me accountable to my recovery, and myself, and it’s maybe the first time I’ve kept a promise to myself, to keep coming back and doing this for me.
Love that you picked up on the importance of practicing and living it!
