Homework assignment is to come up with an up-level intention you have for each of the topics you want to focus on this year. We are creating individualized plans! Please post what you will be working on each month so that I can get clear on how to support you.

    • I enjoyed the call. Thank you for sharing such good wisdom and the process of connecting to truth. I have written down my intentions and placed them in 3 places in my house. That is a start to increasing the awareness of my intentions so they become a part of my daily— weekly rhythms.

One of my intentions is to focus on spiritual connection and contemplation. I am part of a celtic spirituality group where we have a daily reading, mediation and practice. By signing up it unleveled me to show up in this group and to share my experience. I am grateful that the moderators are spiritual directors and can help attune to the my process is, individually and collectively. We come from all over the world and it’s been so insightful. I have had 2 powerful healing dreams of caring for my exiled parts. I had done the work in therapy(welcoming, getting to know a parts perspective, unburdening it and giving it a new job in my system)……. but to wake up knowing that I had forgiven and was nurturing these parts has been amazing to me. That is what embodiment feels like to me. To forgive and own the parts of me that caused me pain and now just to show unconditional love to them. Feels like self trust and integration. It’s really hard to explain but it is a truly body felt sense. This all happened after we had spent a week on the practice of dreaming. I have to believe that my consciousness invited the subconscious into the dream state. But really who knows, shift happens.

I am clearing a lot and resetting my altar for the year. This falls under creative expression as I looked at past years mandalas and vision boards. I decided to make a vision board for each month this year. So I will be more aware to what it is that I want to focus on. Again, in the framework of my intentions. I love the process.

      • I love how your process has been so expressive. Mine has been so mental that I love hearing how you have embraced spirituality and outer expression. So beautiful!

    • Oh boy, this sounds like a big challenge…lol. I’m up for it! Will work on it this weekend and post my intentions.

      • I know you are up for it! See what comes through for you.

        • 1. Mental Health – Intention is to book an appointment with a psychiatrist to explore the possibility of medication if necessary

          2. Physical Health – Intention is to find a new eating plan to try for 30 days, possibly a no sugar plan. I’m looking to kick my sugar cravings.

          3. Mending my family relationships, specifically with my brother – Intention is to set up a time with my brother to meet over Skype or in person so that I can apologize and hear what he has to say without defending myself.

          4. Job Situation – Intention is to familiarize myself with Linkedin and find networking opportunities through the site. I am out of touch with how jobs are secured with new internet technology.

          5. Creativity – Intention is to consider purchasing a piano again and return to playing again (it’s been several years), finish the painting I am currently working on, and explore writing or journaling my process more.

          6. Volunteer – Intention is to find a place within my community where I can volunteer a few times a year.

          7. Connection – Intention is to find a group offline that meets once a month (or more) that aligns with my spiritual needs and goals.

          8. Recovery Work – Intention is to spend an hour a day on my recovery whether it is through meditating, reaching out for support, listening to podcasts or talks, etc.

          9. New Connections – Intention is to reach out to someone that I have a difficult relationship with or who is different from me to bridge the gap between us through understanding.

          10. Spiritual Retreat – Intention is to attend Svava Brook’s retreat in April.

          11. Financial Planning – Intention is to set up an appointment with a financial planner to discuss retirement fund options.
