Yes, please…comes up for me. As well, it makes me think of yesterday’s CIM lesson “I seem to be thinking of _______ but my mind is preoccupied with past thoughts.” I loved this. Even though I said I didn’t initially connect with this during our call, I went back to it after and kept doing it incessantly. I found it incredibly helpful in entering a state of nonresistance to what I was thinking about. By acknowledging that my mind is blank in the present and not thinking about anything, I recognize my thoughts as based in the past which isn’t real. I used it today when I noticed my tendency to want to compare myself to others. “I seem to be thinking I’m wrong because of how that person is different, better, etc from me, but my mind is preoccupied with past thoughts”… It worked great. My mood was noticeably better when I let go, in the present, of the idea that my past makes me wrong. My attitude too. I felt accepting of myself and others. Just generally non resistant to the present moment, which to me is what vibrational non resistance really refers to.
They are just thoughts. You don’t have to buy into them. Or you get to choose what you buy into or not. Great practice.
Open heartedness. I have been making time for daily contemplation and a particular scripture keeps inviting me to the ancient path. This is the path to my heart and out of my heart. I am posturing more with receiving and “questing” through the questions. I feel really grounded with starting my day this way.
The opposite is being in my head, old patterns, judgement and blockage. Disconnection from my heart.
Beautiful! Connecting with your heart! I start the day off connecting to Source so I relate very much.
