I just wanted to say that I had a breakthrough around understanding that I am a spiritual being having a human experience. I know that and wanted to believe it, but haven’t really “felt” it. Then I saw this Instagram post and all of a sudden it hit me differently, way differently. And I want to share it with you all, because you all deserve to hear this message too…

The picture on the post said “I believe you are not a mistake” and the caption said:

“YOU are not a mistake. You are a gift. You are an intentional choice made by your creator. You are starlight and magic. You are good things. You are loved and worthy and ENOUGH. Don’t allow one single person in your life that doesn’t support those truths. Don’t allow one single thought to reside that doesn’t own these beliefs as reality. YOU ARE HERE FOR A REASON. You are not defined by past mistakes. You are defined by future potential. Have the courage to walk in faith toward who you are called to be.” -Rachel Hollis

I’ve read posts like this before, but reading this struck me, and I had a knowing that I am not defined by my mother or father. That my father being a part of my life or not has no meaning toward who I am. That I was created independent of my parents, they were just the vessel that brought me to this time and space.
