I had a job interview this morning. It’s for a teacher assistant position at our high school. I feel like it went well. I haven’t been on a job interview in 14 years, so it was great to put myself out there again. I maintained my confidence throughout the interview. It felt at times like they were testing me a bit to see if I would lose a bit of that confidence, but I maintained that I was willing and able to do the job. We all questioned whether I could go from working with 7 high school kids in my current position to 70 at one time in this position. Definitely something for me to think about and consider in the next few days. I am at peace with whatever happens and desire to have a job that is a good fit and comfortable for all concerned. I’m just so very grateful that the door was opened and I walked through it with confidence. I can clearly see my growth and am excited about the next phase of my process!
