What’s the unfinished business you are working on?
Honestly, its trying to narrow down the vast amount of unfinished business I have ahead of me into just one piece of business that I can start working on now… At the same time, I know completing one area of unresolved business will resolve other areas as well so I need to stop over thinking this.
From our call, we discussed you resolving the story in your mind and creating a new one that you can practice and pull from each and every day. That feels really applicable to any other piece of unfinished business. Would you say that’s true for you?
There was so much that came up in the call that I was planning to rewatch it to remind myself but, yeah, now that you mention it, that seems like the direction I need to go. It also seems like a lot, meaning where do I start with resolving not just an unresolved issue or belief but an entire story?
Where would you like to start when it comes to creating a newer and updated story line for yourself that is more in alignment with where you are today in your life?
I am working on the truth of being a Spiritual Being having a Human Experience. How does this tie into my healing modality of Internal Family Systems…..just getting curious and creative. I tend to ” make things known” through image- like creating a art piece. So I am re-doing a 78 record that is bigger than my 45 records. So this is my True Essence. What my Spiritual teaching says is the untouched place that doesn’t have a story, it just is. A witness, that is present to the parts who have stories (45 records). The Spiritual part knows that the child part isn’t the problem the experience or the false truth is. So I am making this 78 so I have a visual to become aware of this truth. This truth helps to become grounded so when exiled parts come forth, they can be welcomed and befriended.
I also used the handouts to help me write out my judgements and blockages. I then attended a group gathering at my yoga studio where we did a meditation and burned these. It was powerful to be in the circle as a witness and a releaser. I know that being in this circle has helped me to realize that I need to EXPERIENCE the change, not just intellectually know and then be passive about the new information. Said from the part that was in a downward spiral of depression for the past few years with lots of passive influence directing my life. Connection has taken over Isolation in increments.

I now need to write my new stories to bring the new code/story into conscious focus. I burnt the old statement but the new ones didn’t magically appear under my pillow this morning. Darn it!
