Checking in with some shifts that are appearing for me as a side effect of changing my approach to fear and failure as I described it in my last post. Well, so far I haven’t taken any bold, scary action, although more because of a lack of time and thought invested into what action(s) to take rather than an unwillingness to take them, I think… hopefully. I have, however, had some wins with connecting with events, feelings and circumstances as my spiritual curriculum, which has allowed me to be grateful for what’s come and to enjoy the experience and the learning, even when its not readily apparent…. Also connected with fear and failure with curiousity, as opposed to avoidance or even equanimity. I’ve been incredibly intentional about choosing to not feel stressed in situations that I have ALWAYS reacted in a stressful way, despite my best intentions. The shift is that while I’ve always perceived this as a possible choice in dealing with stress, I’ve rarely experienced it working, and certainly not to the extent that I’ve managed to consciously choose more empowered responses to my stressors/triggers in recent days. The result is less judgment around my experience, less making myself wrong, more acceptance and trust in my worthiness.

    • Great shift! Now intend to stay there;) Also, would love to hear 1 goal you’d like to work towards in May since creating goals seems to be something you’ve mentioned in several posts. Let’s address that!
