Reflecting on the live call… What I would like to change first is related to down time… I feel like i am burning a lot of time and missing that piece.
Down Time
My head is very busy. I have little down time. I am not good at this one, looking to create more moments of peace (in my melon). Really related to the online bit, trying to minimize that time, so I have more real downtime. 2 here
Physical Time
Ugh, this is a struggle. I have recommitted in February to doing something that makes me sweat 6 days per week (i love kickboxing). I do yoga 3-4 days per week and that feels good. Right now, 3
Play Time
This one is an opportunity for me. I think my play time would be more beneficial if it was more purposeful, getting out and moving around. This one is a 3 for me.
Time In
I like time in, I definitely participate in this every day. I love to focus, on where I am, how do I feel, what I am thinking and sometimes making changes to those based on what I discover. Solid 7 here
Focus Time
To me this relates to my time in school and business building time. This feels solid for me, very easy. This is the stuff that makes me feel purposeful and moving in a forward momentum. 8 here
Connecting Time
I love this, and I find that now that recovery coaching is my primary source of income, I can commit to this more. It totally feeds my soul. I plan coffee with someone at least once per week and I am committed to connecting with my husband for 30 mins each day, solely focused on us, my son gets 2 hours per day of all my attention and love (whether he wants it or not). 8 here
Sleep Time
This one is a win for me. I have discovered over time that I must get restful sleep or I am a mess. I have created a meditation routine and moon salutation practice with a gratitude list to set myself up for restful sleep. I also go to sleep when my son does, to ensure the house still and gets quiet throughout. 8 here.
Upon review, it looks like I need to slow down in some moments and enjoy some play time, physical time and some positive down time. Not a lot of middle ground here, either I am solid… or I have some opportunity. No 10’s, cause I can always grow more and no 1’s cause I am not failing at anything today!

What I love about the moon salutation is it moves slower than some of the other yoga flows I have used and this one feels like the movements are more open and almost like it symbolizes release, let go… great way to end the day. Plus I am a Cancer, so i am a total moon child!
I do sun salutations as part of my morning practice, I’m going to have to try moon salutations in the evening, sounds wonderful!
I love it!!! Trying to get my son to participate, but he does one round and is like nah! Let me know how it goes!!!
