So what’s great as I progress through these dimensions in recovery life lab is that I’m noticing I’m doing 3 foot tosses before even being called on to do them.  This means I’m making positive changes in one dimension almost automatically, or as a byproduct of work I’ve done in another.  For the intellectual dimension this month, I already ordered an online reiki course about a week ago (which is something I’ve wanted to learn for a while) and ordered a different course hours before today’s meeting.  I’ll still try to come up with a different 3 foot toss but I see this as a step in the right direction.  I’m also noticing that even after each month/dimension in the lab concludes, I’m still making small and big changes in some dimensions.  Physical health has always been a challenge and I made some small yet significant changes the month we covered it but 5 weeks ago I stopped drinking (for those who don’t know, I never worked with Bev as my recovery coach for substances but for depression, anxiety and avoidant personality).  A few weeks after I stopped drinking, I discovered, (through a new online connection that reached out to me, synchronistically I feel), the perfect dietary/nutrition system for me and have been eating healthier than I ever have in my life.  I have more energy.  My body is responding to the changes I’ve made.  And for me, honoring my body, that I’ve resisted and rejected and felt shame over for decades, is a huge sign of growth since I always sabotaged it in the semi conscious hopes of ending my suffering.  Its early in the changes I’ve made but I see myself growing and evolving through them and not returning to old, comfortable, destructive patterns of behavior.

    • Incredible! I love your insight on the connection and continued development you are making in the different dimensions. And love hearing that you are coming up with 3 foot tosses for yourself before being prompted, that’s true ownership of your own evolution and growth! So great Wes!

    • That’s awesome Wes!! I’ve noticed the same things about working in one dimension contributing to positive changes in another. Congrats on all the positive changes physically!!
