I agree with Jane. And this is what I would like it to be for me. I do notice myself defaulting to pushing my feelings aside and pretending they’re not important. I often mistake this for neutrality. But on having these realizations, neutrality can be redefined to mean not rejecting the experience that caused the unwanted feelings but rather allowing the feelings to be felt with gratitude and nonjudgment for being present in my experience for my learning.
For me it feels like allowing without judging.
