Good Morning everyone. I sure have missed the lab the last few weeks. I am in the middle of a big transition. I quite my job and I am moving to San Diego. I drove to Minnesota this past week to visit my youngest son and other family before driving down to Yuma, AZ where my oldest son is. From there I will be looking for a place to live in San Diego, a part time job and working hard at my recovery coaching business. I am a bit overwhelmed right now and I feel I have lost my momentum on getting my recovery coaching going and my mentorship program. So I am going to set aside time each day to at least check in here and get caught up on things. I will do all this with no judgement of myself or guilt only gentleness and self-forgiveness.

    • Love to hear you dropping the judgment and just giving yourself space. You’ve made a big move so just be kind and gentle to yourself right now while you make your move, get settled and then focus in on your coaching. The Lab and the Mentorship Program are all here to support you. I know you will get to this stuff when the time is right so give yourself that time.

      • Thank Beverly. I feel the need to keep moving forward with this. If I get to far behind in the mentorship program it may be hard to catch up. I can make time for the calls now with the exception of any during my drive to Yuma, AZ. I think that will be the July 18th call. Actually, I may be able to make that one too if my son is driving during that call or if we have made it to Arizona by then. I really appreciate the support here. It’s starting to all feel real and I am trying to process the big changes.

    • Good for you, Roxanne! Let’s be all about the non judgment! You got this 😊

      • Thank you Wes! It does help to be non judgmental with ourselves. Judgment only leads to problems and negative feelings about ourselves.

    • It sounds like you put a lot of thought into this big transition. We are here to support you in your new journey!
