I was on spring break from work last week so I was able to finish my 3 little external clutter projects, the challenge has been keeping them uncluttered…pretty good analogy for my life lol. I started working on clearing the internal clutter and am starting with unworthiness. It helps to write it out so I thought I’d share my process…

    1. I…[Read more]

I finished my decluttering activities. It feels good to set a goal, make progress toward that goal, and complete the goal. I am having a harder time with the internal clutter but I keep at it. I keep telling myself living is a learning process.

    • Good for you! And yes, all life is for learning. Pretty sure I’ve heard Bev say that a time or two before.

      • Definitely my favorite from Bev so far…. this one gets me through a lot these days.

    • Great job Stephanie! The internal clutter is intimidating, but it’s all learning like you said 🙂

    • The inner clutter is the most challenging!

    • Inner clutter is challenging because it’s often life lessons. The goal here is to intend to resolve and complete it! One step at a time.

Hi everyone – I just wanted to share some news!! I was offered a new job last week and am very excited as a result. One thing I needed to let go was my current employment. It had potential to threaten my recovery as some things were getting out of hand. It was time for me to move on and the universe presented me with an open door and I gladly…[Read more]

I feel like I have so much unfinished business this month. I feel so behind on everything. Housework, work for my company (I work from home for a jewelry company), just stuff to keep myself sane and well, and really I just need to take a few days to get myself together. Last weekend I thought I was going to accomplish so much because I actually…[Read more]

    • Thanks for sharing Miranda. Keep us updated!

    • You sound like me Miranda. When I get so overwhelmed I stop and try and let everything flow out of my head. Then I open my eyes and somehow see what I should do next.

    • Totally understand feeling like there’s lots of unfinished business. Start with something and work on completing it. For me the first thing I started with was deciding to fully recovery. I made that my mission for years and made choices in alignment with that!

    Finishing unfinished business:
An area of unfinished business I would like to complete is my anxiety around preferring to be alone and without close friends.  This anxiety shows up in my fears over how my social anxiety will be internalized by my kids, how it will affect them.  It shows up in my unwillingness to engage my felt purpose of being a h…[Read more]

    • Great point…let go of attachment to duality. It’s not about other people. It’s about you showing up authentically as yourself and accepting that. Others aren’t required to accept you. The catch here is the more you accept yourself and share the more others will accept you too.

    • I love this! You got this Wes!

    • You can do this Wes!

This week, make sure to catch up with any work that you have completed this month and check off your April checklist once completed! Remember that I will be traveling across the country this week so will not be prompting you. I would love for you to check in with your own prompts for yourself. Work on completing outer and inner clutter.

  • Bev Sartain posted an update 8 years ago

Today’s prompt: This weekend make sure to walk yourself through the Finishing Unfinished Business pdf. I want you to keep noticing how the the #1 way to complete unresolved issues it to intend to do so and take action that supports that intention. This process of intended and taking action on intention is a VERY powerful process to learn.

    • If I were to follow this process my apartment would then be uncluttered and organized and livable. My apartment is chaos and at times so is my thinking. If I unclutter the external I know the internal would be uncluttered too.

      • Exactly, we are going to for intentional decluttering of our outer and inner world.

I’ll try engaging yesterday’s prompt today. Smiling feels awkward for me. I want to feel confident when I smile but I hate how I look smiling. Crooked teeth and smile. I also remember when I used to get bullied as a kid and through my teens, I would attempt to smile or laugh to try to show it didn’t bother me. Never worked and often I was…[Read more]

    • Sounds like there is an opportunity to resolve and heal this. It’s okay if it feels vulnerable. Smiling is not about your old story. Smiling is about connecting to yourself and others and sharing your light and love with the world. You get to choose how you look at it!

This past weekend I completed 2 of the de-cluttering tasks I committed to and made good progress on the third. I cleaned my vehicle inside and out. I also finished cleaning out clothes and dropped a couple of bags of clothes off at Goodwill. I’ve always been one to cLear out clutter but this was the first time I used cleaning to consciously let…[Read more]

    • You can see how powerful intention is versus just doing to do. The mind is a powerful tool. I love learning how to work with it:) You can see incredible results from living more conscious and intentional. Great job Stephanie!

I just read this prompt, so I didn’t consciously smile more today. But looking back I did smile a lot because I too full advantage of my day off. I went and hit some golf balls today working on the things I learning Monday at my golf lesson. Then I went to a yoga class, which I have been pushing off. Thoroughly enjoyed it, like I knew I would but…[Read more]

Today’s prompt: Practice smiling more today. Share you genuine joy with others by expressing it more through your smile.

    • I loved the brief moments of connection I felt just by smiling at a stranger I passed by for a second. I can feel the change in how I feel on the inside just by smiling even if I don’t think I have a reason to smile at the moment, if that makes sense..

  • Bev Sartain posted an update 8 years ago

Today’s prompt: Practice “I choose peace” when you observe yourself getting emotional or judgmental. Just give it a-go today and start the practice of letting go of engaging in upset and victim consciousness. It’s a simple tool but it reminds us that there is always a choice point and we can engage in the emotional reaction or judgmental thought…[Read more]

    • I like this! I’ve been wondering how to consciously unload things and this simple tool could be the key for me. I love having the choice and coming at things from the perspective of creator. Thanks for this prompt. I’m maybe a day late, but going to do this today.

    • I’ve been trying to practice this whenever I notice myself feeling judgy toward myself or others, it’s feels like a nice little reset button. Simple but powerful. Just a matter of remembering to use it in the moment!

This past weekend was heavy on family commitments and events. I went into the weekend holding the intention to meet my family members where they were at and to not make anyone’s experiences, including my own, wrong in any way. I held a space of openness to things as they were and to people as they were. It wasn’t always easy (until I realized it…[Read more]

    • The feelings and judgments won’t be as intense or frequent the more you let them come up and pass without judgment. Judgment is a position. When we hold onto our position, we suffer. The more you acknowledge it and let it pass the less energy it will continue to have until it doesn’t anymore. It’s really your choice if this stuff has energy or not…[Read more]
