    I did some tapping on overwhelm today. Even as I felt the need to tap on the feeling of overwhelm, I wasn’t experiencing it, the overwhelm, in the same way as I used to. It wasn’t true overwhelm because I knew I could handle it. I’m breathing and alive. Death is just as imminent, or not, as it’s always been. I’m fine in this moment. It just resembled the feeling I used to identify as overwhelm. But I know better now. Tapping helped me connect deeper with the knowledge I already possessed that all is well in this moment. Deeply acknowledging that this moment is as its meant to be, independent of my feelings about how it should be, frees me up to appreciate and love myself in it. As long as I’m doing that in each moment, nothing else needs to be done and there’s no reason for me to feel overwhelmed.
