I was tempted to go to sleep without checking in. There wasn’t much coming up for me when I tried to write. But it’s become an important part of my process to come here and just acknowledge my efforts, whatever they might be. Judging my meditation and tapping that I did today as insignificant because I do these every day as part of my practice undermines their importance in effecting change in my life and takes for granted their role. I did also make a meaningful connection with another like minded person in a Facebook group I belong to and we were a mirror for one another to reflect back our inner states. There is always some learning available in my day. Grateful to have this space to reflect on that and to share it.
I’m glad that you checked in because I also view some of the things that I am doing regularly as insignificant because they have become the norm now. It is helpful for you to point this out so I can try to stop judging myself for things I have not done and be more positive about the things I am doing. Thanks
Love this post because it indicates that what needs to be resolved is the judging and making things insignificant comes in. Practice just letting go when the need to judge or make things insignificant and then shift into gratitude for what you are doing. This process helps resolve the minds need to judge and make it mean something. Choose neutrality!
Glad it could help Chas. Thanks for that feedback! Like the “shift into gratitude” idea, Bev.
