Just checking in. Haven’t been here in a while. Doing well. Being ok with things as they are. Work is challenging and keeping me from things that I want to be spending my time and attention on but because I can’t do those things, I’m choosing to be present while at work and not making myself wrong for falling behind and not reaching my…[Read more]

So good! I’ve been consciously aware of that idea you mention, ever since hearing her talk a few days ago, of allowing my ego to be lead by my spirit. I’m noticing far less judgment and more compassion for my experience. Matt Kahn gave a really great interview too. Expressed something similar about guardian angels. Not sure how I resonate…[Read more]

I found what she was saying to be largely aligned with what you’ve always shared with me about the ego, including your above comment, even if I didn’t explain it as well as I could have. I absolutely, unequivocally want to stop judging and belittling my ego, this idea I have of who Wes is. It creates duality within myself which is then…[Read more]

I had to push my wife a little in following through with our intention to go to yoga together but we did and got it done. We won’t have many opportunities to go together again but we’ll both likely go again on our own, if and when we can. She observed that she didn’t feel conscious about her body since doing yoga yesterday so she wants to go…[Read more]

Not sure why but I find visualization incredibly difficult.I don’t resonate with it at all. And I think that’s why I have such trouble getting clarity around goals and desires. But if, like you say, I could connect
with a feeling (which would mean practicing non judgment and non resistance) and bring myself into alignment with it, that could…[Read more] -

WHO AM I?
Listened to a super insightful interview with Anita Moorjani as part of the Hay House Summit that’s currently running. I’m going to go back to it and listen to it again tomorrow while I’m at the gym but the initial takeaway I got from it was how important ego is to shining brightly in the world in service to our highest calling. She…[Read more]

For me it’s just been about asking that having an ego is part of the being in physical form. I don’t have a judgment about the ego. I just focus more on living from my spirit. I’d love to hear how you continue to work with this and apply it to your experience.

I listened to this one after work yesterday, really good! I liked too how she talked about the ego being like a physical manifestation of our spirit and so to allow our spirit to lead we have to let our gifts shine through our ego/physical self (also paraphrasing lol). What really struck me was when she was talking about her near death…[Read more]

I hear ya. So grateful for my process. What comes up for me when I think about wanting clarity but struggling so much with gaining it is that… its the belief that clarity is something I can’t have right now that keeps me from experiencing it now. Its like I’m creating a story that I can’t have clarity because I need to know all the steps I…[Read more]

That makes a lot of sense. I think that would be a cool shift in perception on clarity. I do that a lot too, needing an exact picture of what it is I want to experience clarity rather than going for a feeling and trying things (scary! lol) and seeing what aligns with the feeling I want to experience and then finding clarity that way. Rather…[Read more]

Enjoyed the physical dimension call. Now that I’ve become more comfortable than ever before and made some strides with this dimension, I’m wanting to look towards evolving further with it. Not sure what that looks like long term but in general it looks like varying my activities and trying new things that I wouldn’t have considered before. My…[Read more]

I’m feeling pretty decent about it. Lots of work still to do but noticing I’m less in judgment about it and shifting more towards curiousity and learning. I’m learning to more intentionally connect with spirit, less with ego. Course correcting is still needed around taking bold action and this will require identifying and setting clear goals.…[Read more]

I understand what you mean about wanting to take bold action but needing to gain clarity around goals and such. I feel the same way. I also feel like along with gaining clarity around what I want and taking action, I need to give myself timelines. But overall, I feel grateful to have a process, and I”m ok that it’s always going to be a process…[Read more]

Checking in with some shifts that are appearing for me as a side effect of changing my approach to fear and failure as I described it in my last post. Well, so far I haven’t taken any bold, scary action, although more because of a lack of time and thought invested into what action(s) to take rather than an unwillingness to take them, I think……[Read more]

I like that identity piece. That’s definitely been missing. How can I strengthen that connection to spiritual being as my identity? That will be my intention behind the choices I make moving forward.

I’m meaning to use this to connect with everything in my experience, all the external circumstances, as my spiritual curriculum, so that I’m less in fear of these things and more in curiousity, love, adventure. Feels like something I may have to connect with on a regular basis, maybe as part of an ideal scene or through using some other tool,…[Read more]

The application will offer the breakthrough. What’s comes up for me is the importance of a strong identity. My identify is connected to my spiritual being so life doesn’t have such a negative impact on me. This really pertains to our conversation we had this week on principle #1 of Spiritual Psychology. If your identity is fragile and based on…[Read more]

There’s an awareness with the equanimity thing that I use it to keep myself small. I use it to avoid stretching myself and to avoid taking responsibility for the learning that comes with failure. I tell myself I’m alright with failure so I don’t have to feel bad about myself… I use it to pat myself on the back, shrug my shoulders, and…[Read more]

Thank you both! Speaking of equanimity, I felt a little resistance (the opposite of equanimity?) to answering your question about being more specific about the direction I was heading physically, which I was kind of vague about in the post above. Ultimately, I decided in that moment to express what was true for me and that was that I was…[Read more]

Haven’t checked in lately. Hasn’t been a lot happening but I am excited about some physical changes I’m experiencing and about a physical direction I’m heading in.
