  • My ego wants me to be alone and silent. My spirit needs me to connect and express.

Thanks. I like the list too. Just having acknowledged and written these things out, I’m noticing different ways over the past few days that I’ve been honoring these intentions. Happy for the moment with where I’m at.

    Love this list Tami

Thanks for the call Bev. Feeling super vulnerable about what I shared and hoping I didn’t trigger anyone or otherwise cause anyone pain. Part of me feels like isolating because of what I shared but I recognize that as an old pattern that doesn’t serve me so I’ll come here instead and ask for support and forgiveness. My intention was only to…[Read more]

    • You are loved and supported here and I’m happy to hear you are going to practice self-forgiveness, connection and change things that aren’t working for you. It’s important that we admit and be truthful with ourselves about how we are showing up. You don’t need to feel bad about it, you can empower yourself to do it differently. I freakin’ LOVE…[Read more]

    Cool, I’ll check it out.

Yes, please…comes up for me. As well, it makes me think of yesterday’s CIM lesson “I seem to be thinking of _______ but my mind is preoccupied with past thoughts.” I loved this. Even though I said I didn’t initially connect with this during our call, I went back to it after and kept doing it incessantly. I found it incredibly helpful in…[Read more]

    • They are just thoughts. You don’t have to buy into them. Or you get to choose what you buy into or not. Great practice.

Thanks Tami. Been acknowledging and claiming my courage.

That means so much to me. Thank you Bev. I resisted taking this step for a long time, refusing to see what my wife was seeing. Now, it feels like the right next step to take moving forward. Feeling a lot of negative side effects in this first week but at peace with it as I ride it out.

I’ve had an… interesting?… start to the new year, shall we say. Lots of challenges and triggers that have come up over the latter part of these holidays and into these early days of 2019. Took some empowering but also scary steps to address and support what I now can recognize and acknowledge had been a steady decline in my mental health…[Read more]

    • Sending love and support your way. Here to support you in any way I can. Glad you took steps to support yourself. Everything is happening in your favor even if/when you can’t see it so. To get different results for ourselves, we have to do things very differently. Sending so much love your way.

    • Sending you waves of compassion as you traverse the path to healing and peace. It takes courage to move in a new direction. Just know you are held in love and support.

    Great example!

  • Starting the year off with daily lesson #1 in a course in miracles workbook through a Marianne Williamson course I purchased. Always been wanting to do this but have never been able to get into the book the way its laid out. Also looking forward to healing thyself this year and getting intentional and specific about what I intend to create this…[Read more]

More so, I suppose. Still can’t, in complete honesty, say that I am always enjoying it. That is the goal, however.

So much decluttering I need to do. Went to the library with my family today with no intentions of borrowing any books (on account of the gazillion unread books I have on my shelf and my kindle) and, after having read this post earlier, decided to sign out a book on decluttering after stumbling across it while killing time browsing… we’ll see…[Read more]

Grateful for this space too. Continuing to work diligently through the challenges I experience trying to love myself and others. But also acknowledging that I am doing the best I know how to do, as consciously as I know how. Happy holidays to all.

The pattern of staying vague and unclear about what I want means that I am more focussed on what I dont want, and since I’m much more clear on what I don’t want than I am on what I do, I attract much more of what I don’t want into my life and further distance myself from my potential.

    • Sooo good Wes. This is such a great acknowledgement. If you can focus on what you don’t want then you can focus on what you want! You get to decide what you focus your intention and attention on. This is huge! You are really identifying when you get off course in your process.

Incredibly grateful for this group and this space. As close to “peace” as I’ve ever experienced in this lifetime and perhaps more importantly, evidence that peace is possible and within reach. Says a lot to me that you’ve attracted the kind of people you have to this space to make it what it is. I’m looking forward to, by which I mean, already…[Read more]

    • When we are together, we let go! It’s about creating more and more experiencing where we can let go, allow love and enjoy. I’m SO happy that we all create that space here!

Me too. Depression for me has very much been about identifying with the thoughts that don’t serve me and resisting life.

  • Wes Richards posted a new activity comment 6 years, 4 months ago

For me, I’ve always felt like I needed to be healed, like there was something inherently wrong with me. And to some extent or another, I’d been searching all my life for something that was missing. More recently, it was my responsibility as a father that was the motivation for my healing but that alone wasn’t enough. It was a series of events,…[Read more]
