That is huge Jane. There is so much freedom in this! I so understand where your coming from. I have been looking at job postings in my field in San Diego and as I looked at them, I continued to tell myself that I wasn’t qualified. Only ended up applying for one job before I determined, I am no longer interested in working in my current field.

That sounds like an interesting book Jennifer. Who is the author?

I am looking at volunteer work once I get settled in San Diego. Possibly hospice or someplace that works closely with people in recovery. Maybe help facilitate a Smart Recovery Meeting. Until then, I have a couple other courses I am looking at. I found free 4 hour course on SBIRT (screening, brief intervention, referral treatment) and a free…[Read more]

It was a great webinar Jennifer. I am glad you were able to watch it and love what you took away from it. I am all about getting rid of the ‘Victim Consciousness’ and choosing to live a more empowered life by changing my story to what is truth rather than the old stories I have been believing that are so dis-empowering. This is going to be a…[Read more]

This was incredibly empowering. The revelation that I get to choose not to believe the stories I have been telling myself and do it without judgment and self-forgiveness is beyond emotional for me. As I sit here trying to reflect on the specific story of ‘not being good enough – “who do you think you are, you can’t do this’ another story pops up…[Read more]

    • You are hitting a new level of loving within yourself. You get to create a story that works for you not against you. I found that I was most scared of my greatness and it’s been a continuing process of allowing my greatness to shine. You are so welcome. When you learn to work with your mind, you can experience a true freedom unlike anything else.

My career has to be first. I am in the process of leaving a good paying job with benefits to move and start my coaching business. I have plans of working part time once I get relocated. This was a huge decision and not taken lightly. However, it is really bringing me down and for my own health, it’s time to leave. I know this will affect my…[Read more]

I have parts of my life in which I need to clear through self-forgiveness. I think identifying the judgements will really go along with that. If we judge ourselves, its nearly impossible to forgive ourselves. Sometimes those things we feel we need forgiveness for are often things beyond our control. To be able to determine which those are, work…[Read more]

    • Self-forgiveness is a true opportunity to really put things we’ve been holding against ourselves to rest so we can free of space to focus on our passion and purpose.

I even found this certification course called ‘Grief Recovery Method’ that certifies people to help grievers recover from loss. They have a class in October in San Diego. So hope to go, but of course there is a cost. 🙂

I have learned so much from you Beverly and doing our inner work is one of them. This will make it possible to really help others.

  • I am so stoked today. As I have been sitting here contemplating my recovery coaching and what that means, I realized that even though my niche is helping women in recovery that are dealing with grief, I have the opportunity to help anyone that is dealing with grief. I plan to be very focused on learning more about the grief process itself and…[Read more]

That’s a great thing to explore and I think I have much of that to do. I have such a tendency towards the victim consciousness and I know that many things in my life have lead to this. Trauma, loss, rejection or fear of it. No more. I will explore and choose to be empowered by not accepting it.

It’s truly so empowering Jane. I am so happy that your learning and choosing the creator consciousness that is so much more empowering. The other part of that is that we get to explore our victim consciousness without judgement. It’s clear that judgment will only keep us in the victim consciousness. I look forward to this journey with you.

It is a blessing Beverly. For some reason this is really touching me. Even as I write this, my eyes fill with tears. It has brought up some type of emotions that I need to explore. Thank you for all of you support. I am so very happy to be a part of this group. I can tell just from this first lesson that I will gain so much and that in turn…[Read more]

  • Since I am new, I am going to go through the back weeks. Tonight I did March – Week 1. Loved it. So many great things about the focus for the month. My limiting belief is that I don’t get to choose my state of consciousness. I always fall trap to the victim consciousness. My take-away is that I get to look at what victim consciousness serves…[Read more]

    • This is so beautiful and I totally understand the depth of this learning. May you use this knowledge now Roxane to live in creator consciousness. It’s a daily practice of staying committed to being the creator in your life. You’ve made so many bold choices since I’ve gotten to know you more so that creator part of you is VERY strong. It’s really…[Read more]

    • Roxanne that’s so true, remembering that I get to choose my state of consciousness was the biggest lesson for me and I keep reminding myself of that when I notice I’m in victim consciousness again.

    • When I go into victim consciousness, I always ask myself, “what does my soul intend to learn from this experience?” This question always supports me in returning to empowerment.

      • That’s a great thing to explore and I think I have much of that to do. I have such a tendency towards the victim consciousness and I know that many things in my life have lead to this. • That’s a great question to ask…and it’s a question without judgement around it.

I love that Beverly! What a great way to look at it. I have been in that struggle as well. When I lost my husband, I struggled with that. It was always Roxie and Jeff and then there was no Jeff and I couldn’t figure out who I was just as me or what purpose I had. I do feel as though I have a purpose now and I know we are all here because we…[Read more]

Miranda, I hope the 5 day peer run respite helps. I don’t know exactly what the depression and anxiety feels like to to you, but I suffer from bouts of it myself. It can be most debilitating. I am glad you are paying attention to what you need and taking care of yourself. I would like to hear about the respite when you return. Take care and…[Read more]

That sounds great. As soon as my doctor releases me for exercise, I will be doing some yoga. I found a wonderful person that posts videos on YouTube and here sessions are geared towards different things, like anxiety, stress etc. Looks like I have made a decision to move at the end of June so once I get settled in a new place, I will be going…[Read more]
