I always get so excited for Tuesday calls. I listened as soon as I got home from work…lol.

    • Good! I really enjoyed talking through this today. I do every time but something about this topic of practice always excites me. I think it’s provided so much stability in my life and I find up-leveling practice to be so fun. I enjoy that I pull from my intuition which feels like a strong connection to Self and Higher Self. So many great things…[Read more]

I’m not sure. I went back and listened again, but didn’t feel it this to time. Honestly, I think just talking about worthiness triggers cravings for me. I can’t say that I always feel worthy of sobriety, but I do it anyway.

When I was listening to this I got a very strong craving. One I haven’t had in awhile. It passed quickly, but I wonder if it means anything?

    • What part specifically triggered the craving? Could be emotional or body memory. Would love to hear more about when it happened.

  • I learned something new today. I’ve been recording episodes of the show “Classical Stretch” on PBS. I was curious and wanted to know what it was all about. So, I’ve done two of the 20 minutes workouts so far, and today I learned that our feet have a big role to play in how our neck functions. Apparently, if we don’t exercise our feet we may…[Read more]

    • Great learning! I didn’t know that. Interestingly enough, I rub my feet a lot. Partially because I’ve done reflexology in the past and I like how it feels. Perhaps there is a connection for me in rubbing my feet and loosening my neck and shoulder muscles;)

  • Work was awesome this week! I think I felt more a part of our team then I ever have in 13 years. Seeing the smiles on my bosses faces age really feeling like I contributed felt right to me. I experienced some passive aggressive type bullying from my peers when they noticed those changes in me, but I just stood tall and continued on with my…[Read more]

That’s great, Bev! I’ve beard a lot of good things about it.

Awesome! I’ve been doing that as well. It’s great because you’re still incorporating parts of your routine into your morning, but just in a different way. I think it’s fun to mix it up! 🙂

I am going back to work next week for the upcoming school year. My intention is to be open to the opportunities that are presented to me, by actively participating in activities offered by the district, as well as opportunities to collaborate with my coworkers and get to know them better. I intend to say yes to at least two invitations a month.…[Read more]

    • Acknowledging you for taking opportunities to be more involved in a way that feels good to you but is also a stretch. You have both!

    Have a good trip!

Sunsets, ocean waves, music that moves me or inspires me to live fully, a table full of people enjoying each other’s company, watching kids learn and grow, and probably so much more!

Yes, and for me it’s also trying to find a way to be in their life while they are struggling. I’m learning how to be in someone’s life while they are struggling, yet protect myself from the inevitable affects that can come with being around them. I heard something this morning that made me think. A woman said we don’t want to blind others…[Read more]

It feels like a slip back into some old patterns. I think my defensive mode is also related to those old patterns. I do have an awareness of it.

So sorry to hear. My condolences to both of you.

I listened to the replay and I noticed a lot of “always” and “nevers” coming out of my mouth at the end. Hmmmmm.

  • Just finished listening to the replay of call #2 from May, and wanted to share what was coming up for me.

I have to continually remind myself that recovery is a daily practice. Often, I find myself thinking that it’s a one time thing that I’m supposed to “get” instead of a daily practice and consistent work. It reminds me of when I first s…[Read more]

    • You are SO worth it, and I’m glad you are owning that more. It’s amazing how our outer experience really reflects a lot back to us about ourselves. You’ve been able to see your growth through this reflection.

P.S. From the outside, it may look like other people are handling life better, but it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s true. 🙂

Thank you for sharing, Wes. I can relate to many things you are going through, and I just want to acknowledge your incredible progress these last few years. Sometimes we are hardest on ourselves, and we forget to stop and acknowledge the positive changes in our life. I struggle with it a lot and find myself in these times where I can’t see i…[Read more]

For me, the calls are incredibly helpful and have been my absolute best source of support. The videos with you are also extremely helpful and I appreciate the availability of those videos! The time is what is difficult for me once we get back into the school year. My work schedule is 6am-5pm most days and I do have two breaks in between that…[Read more]

    • Thanks for your feedback. I really enjoy all forms of delivering content to you guys so it’s valuable for me to hear how to do that best! Thank you…I wish the calls could be at a time that works for everyone but I know that’s not going to be possible. I do appreciate you watching the replay and sharing your experience. I love hearing everyone’s…[Read more]

Right now it’s my marriage. Thankfully, my husband has opened up and let me know the specific issues so we can at least know what we need to work on.

    • Glad to hear that you know a bit more of what needs your specific attention. I can imagine that’s a relief. Appreciate you sharing!

Not knowing what is going to happen in my marriage is bringing up a lot of fear for me. At first, I started to get into an obsessive mode about it, but have since relaxed into taking it a day at a time and allowing things to unfold as they will.
