I listened to the second call from january and wrote out an up level for each of my areas of focus for this year. I combined a couple of topics that were similar or totally intertwined. When i look at this whole list I feel totally overwhelmed even though each thing by itself is totally doable and not that big of a deal. It feels like if I…[Read more]

I really like this idea of doing something each day to take care of yourself. I like keeping it general so you don’t beat yourself up if you can’t go for a walk for some reason. Walking can be your main way of taking good care of you. Thank you for noticing overwhelm. That’s the mechanism that needs to be loved, appreciated, healed and upgraded.…[Read more]

Thank you for the support. When I was writing this and reading it after I wanted to scrap the whole thing because I felt so uncomfortable and agitated and scattered. You’re right, it’s how I’m relating to it, with overwhelm and distrust in myself because I don’t believe I will do any of it.
-
Yes, lean into the discomfort and know that you can change how you relate to yourself. That’s the actually healing that we are working on. The running, scrapping and escaping is just your systems way of wanting to relieve the discomfort. However you don’t have to do it that way anymore. You can change how you relate to the issue and yourself.…[Read more]

I love your list, Jane. You know, it takes a lot of courage to even attempt to write a list like that, so to me you are showing tremendous courage and I applaud you. I also feel overwhelmed with my list. Totally get it.

I am a call behind still, but I loved the first call from this month with Bev and Wes. I’ve listened to it twice. Wes, thank you for your openness and willingness to be vulnerable, I got so much from your sharing and related so much to what you spoke about. Especially around tolerating. Bev, thanks for everything you said at the end of the call.…[Read more]

Acknowledging you for checking in even when you feel behind. Remember…these calls are here when you need them. So keep showing up regardless. I have no expectations that you are listening to every call. Do what you can when you can! I so appreciated this call as well. It can be hard to be vulnerable but it’s how we grow. We grow through our…[Read more]

Thank you. This group is such an integral part of my recovery and I appreciate you all so much. I don’t know why I run away from things that support me instead of toward them when I need them the most. I suppose that’s reflected by what’s in my list, healthy coping and connection.
-
It’s okay to notice that. Always here when you need it.

Jane, Glad you are here and sharing your process. I think the gift is being able to have a place to share intentions and the welcoming of the process. It’s helpful when like minded people are gathering to work on the same process. Whether we go toward a goal or away, the process of holding compassionate space is here. For that I am grateful.
-
Thank you Tami, I agree.

Homework assignment is to come up with an up-level intention you have for each of the topics you want to focus on this year. We are creating individualized plans! Please post what you will be working on each month so that I can get clear on how to support you.-
I enjoyed the call. Thank you for sharing such good wisdom and the process of connecting to truth. I have written down my intentions and placed them in 3 places in my house. That is a start to increasing the awareness of my intentions so they become a part of my daily— weekly rhythms.
One of my intentions is to focus on spiritual connection…[Read more]

I love how your process has been so expressive. Mine has been so mental that I love hearing how you have embraced spirituality and outer expression. So beautiful!

Oh boy, this sounds like a big challenge…lol. I’m up for it! Will work on it this weekend and post my intentions.
-
I know you are up for it! See what comes through for you.
-
1. Mental Health – Intention is to book an appointment with a psychiatrist to explore the possibility of medication if necessary
2. Physical Health – Intention is to find a new eating plan to try for 30 days, possibly a no sugar plan. I’m looking to kick my sugar cravings.
3. Mending my family relationships, specifically with my brother -…[Read more]

Karen, I am glad for your sharing and pray blessings toward your process. May you be held in love and support as you cultivate your intentions. Glad you are here to share the process.

Hey Bev. Is this supposed to be week 3 or did that get missed? Don’t see it here anywhere.
-
I do not see it either Wes.

Thanks for letting me know. Just posted it.

When I was listening to this I got a very strong craving. One I haven’t had in awhile. It passed quickly, but I wonder if it means anything?
-
What part specifically triggered the craving? Could be emotional or body memory. Would love to hear more about when it happened.
-
I’m not sure. I went back and listened again, but didn’t feel it this to time. Honestly, I think just talking about worthiness triggers cravings for me. I can’t say that I always feel worthy of sobriety, but I do it anyway.

Super excited to provide you the Self-Discovery Mini-course that was recently a paid offer. One of the perks of being the RLL. We will be focusing on this in February to set ourselves up for success around the Healthy Mind Platter.

I listened to the welcome and I’m so excited to go through all of this! So resonated with it.

Wonderful! I think it will be helpful to focus on Self so that we have a good foundation to work on the healthy mental platter.

I just listened to the welcome! I am excited too for this opportunity! I need to spend more time on myself and I resonated with every topic. I can’t wait to begin. Thank you Beverly for providing this to us!

Love this Yoga Nidra meditation by my friend Colette! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpKwWaqb4_g&t=17s.
Such a powerful discussion, thank you to all who participated. My takeaway was externalizing my small stories to get curious with what I am believing. So I can own my bigger story of truth. I realized some of my small stories are usually introjects from outside influences that then become my own story. One change I made this week was in the area…[Read more]
