Heading to a relaxing beach in Mexico for the weekend tomorrow morning. Bringing a journal and my RLL worksheets and a book or two. Even though friends I’m going with drink, I have my own room and I feel so grounded in my recovery practice that I’m looking forward to this weekend being intentional in relaxing and connecting with myself. I’m happy that I’ve shifted what travel looks like for me so that I can enjoy it even more now.
So proud of you Jane. I can hear how grounded you are in your practice and connection to your Self. What other people are doing doesn’t have to impact what we KNOW is best for us! Keep shining my friend;)
Thank you so much! I approached all of my feelings with curiosity instead of judgement this weekend as much as possible and was able to enjoy the weekend and learn more about myself…and the 80 degree weather and ocean breeze were also amazing 🙂
