Haven’t checked in a while, but still working on my daily self-care intentions. I love that I’m not striving for perfection but just making a daily imperfect routine. A lot of my self care has looked like making and keeping appointments (including reaching out to a nutritionist), walking/running, trying new tea, and really working on some things…[Read more]

Thanks Karen 🙂 I got involved through a mutual friend helping with a specific event, and then they kept inviting me back for meetings and stuff and I just helped where I could. I definitely felt nervous and anxious in the beginning but I’m glad I kept going and trying and I found I could connect with a couple of the people one on one. It helps…[Read more]

Feeling hopeful and like change is in the air, even amidst the daily struggles to do things differently sometimes. Question…I’ve been noticing when I am going to do something and I stop myself because of what I think other people will think or some perceived judgement that I think might happen. Sometimes it’s the smallest thing that in reality…[Read more]

Could be worthiness…but could just be an old part that needs an upgrade. Get curious here…what part of you fears embarrassment and judgment? What does that part need in order to feel more supported by you? This part will let you know what it needs so you can follow-through and give it more. Also, using self-forgiveness statements here would be…[Read more]

Jane, I can totally relate. For me, it feels like I tend to put people in a position they shouldn’t be in. You know? It’s been helpful for me to stop and put those people back into their rightful place, as an imperfect human like me, not my judge and jury. That way if those people start to judge me, I can say, “Hey! Wait a minute! I’m n…[Read more]

Happy Sunday everyone! I was reviewing my list of up levels for this year, and one of them is reaching out and being open to more/new connections with people and another is trying new experiences etc.. So I’ve been volunteering with the Humane Society in my town and helping with some fundraising events since last November. I’ve struggled with…[Read more]

So happy for you. I love that you are being brave and claiming new experiences and connections. You do belong. 😉 Keep on rocking it, sister.

You absolutely belong! And I’m so proud of you for going over your list of intentions and proactively participating in your life.

Wow, so cool! That is something I’ve been wanting to do, but I’m terrified. Thank you for sharing your positive experience.

Thank you Karen. Writing is definitely giving me a lot of insight, just struggling with turning that insight into action…work in progress.

I’ve been keeping a food diary for the past few weeks, trying to withhold judgement and just record everything and go from there. I wrote out a huge list of goals around food, my body, weight etc. I realized that some were more outcomes that I wanted as a result of changing my relationship with eating vs the goal itself. Like feeling more…[Read more]

Love this distinction that you made. And love that you are finding a way to do it differently.

Love this, Jane and I can totally relate. Writing it down has helped me so much.

Thank you, yesterday was rough and I again found myself looking outside of myself to make it go away, but I went home to deal with it instead of going through a drive-thru. I am committed to doing this differently, even if I have to come here every day to affirm that!

Self care this week has been a lot of taking care of my body in different ways. Stretching every night before bed, taking vitamins every day, going to the gym to run/walk, getting a haircut & new color, and using some new skin care products. It also included some spiritual care…coloring with my 4 year old niece, meditating, and listening to…[Read more]

This is it! It’s your commitment to the process that will make it different. If you commit to being different and dedicating yourself to this daily then you will create a shift for yourself. This is a whole new level of ownership and responsibility to your healing. I hear it in your words.

Witnessing so much connection with yourself. Your mindfulness practice is such a beautiful example of ownership. Catching and Releasing all that doesn’t serve you and being kind to yourself in the process. You are creating a new way of being…..Yaaaa hoooooo! Keep on keeping on, my Friend.

I am going to own how i show up at work this week. My attitude toward it and any frustrating situations that come up, rather than expecting others to be a certain way.

Yes, that’s a great point. I think that’s the hardest part for me is letting other people have their feelings because I take it all personally..

Awesome. I’ve been trying new tea as well, and the elliptical machine. Two new things for me. Love that tea is like a hug in a cup.
