We just found out that my husband’s aunt killed herself. She had been attempting suicide for over a year so we knew it was bound to happen but still isn’t easy to hear. I’m feeling okay about it. I’m more concerned for my husband as he has had many family members take their own life. We talk about it often as he works through his depression. I make sure to check-in with him often and be a healthy example so that we can stay healthy together.
