How’s the week going?
-
It’s full of surprises.
-
Wonderful! Let that be a good thing!

It’s going okay. I had a couple of triggering moments that I am working through. Decided to stay home last night with my husband and dog, doing what feels the most in alignment with what I want to do, instead of giving in to the pressure to be out celebrating my birthday the way everyone else thinks I should celebrate. Giving myself space to p…[Read more]

You do you boo! Happy to hear your husband being so supportive and you doing what makes you feel best. Can’t go wrong with listening to yourself.

So I’ve been planning to the moon, listening to tons of Abraham Hicks and so many opportunities are coming my way. Signed up 2 new clients for the year, both Recovery Life Coaching Clients. A former client reached out and said she wants to coach again since we had such success last time. A connection call yesterday turned potential new client for…[Read more]

So incredible Karen! Yes girl! The bluejay is my bird too! We have these amazing bluejays in the backyard. We have have tons of birdfeeders and the birds come! Here’s some info on the bluejay symbolism: https://www.spirit-animals.com/jay-symbolism/. I get a sense that you are honoring and acknowledging yourself in a way you didn’t before, Karen.…[Read more]

Connecting to Source is also connecting with me. I am expression of Source so Source comes through me. Source expresses through me and connects with other people so that Source can reach more and more people with love, grace and joy.

How are you connecting to Source each day?
-
Honestly, I don’t feel like I connect to Source every day, and I can feel the difference when I have been disconnected. I connect to Source the most when I am outside, but also when I read something that helps me connect to myself, when I spend time with my dog, when I listen to a meditation or sit still for a few minutes in silence, and lately…[Read more]

I hear you, Jane. I can feel when I have been disconnected as well.

-
I connect through dreams, life experiences, words, music, art expression, silence, nature, human encounters, conflict, holy wrestling, kindness and vulnerability.
-
I love that you put “conflict” in there Tami. I’m working on connecting through conflict.

Stillness, nature, repeat… 🙂

Breath, silence, alone time, reading, writing, dreams and synchronicities, movement, and music

Beautiful process and support here. I really resonated with patriarchy not being about “man” or “men.” What a great way to detach.

What’s something you are letting go of as you step into the new year? What’s important about that for you?
-
I mentioned this on the call. I had a dream about a person in the Bible who was thrown outside of camp. This was interesting to me since I have left the religious structure that I grew up in. I am learning to trust that my dreams may have something to say to me that I might not verbalize . I thought at first this was a punishment to me. But what…[Read more]

Love it, Tami. I can relate. So beautiful!

The past two New Years Eves I’ve pulled out a journal and markers and written/drew what I want to let go of on one page and what I want to bring in on another page. It’s just something that has helped me get through the holiday sober. Looking back it’s amazing to me that I truly have let go of some of the things I wrote down and drawn in others.…[Read more]

So glad to witness your journey. I love that you do that on New Year’s Eve. Wondering if it feels so honoring to listen to what has transpired and what wants to come forth. ….I am glad to be here to compassionately witness your process. You have already cracked the shell open and birthed a new sober self. Letting go and welcoming in the new. May…[Read more]

The need for acceptance. The need for people to think highly of me or to always see me in a positive light. I am at peace with my flaws.

Thank you to Misty, Tami and Crystal who came to our call today. We discussed the person we’ve been in 2018 while learning the acronym: FAST (Feel it, Acknowledge it, Shift it and Thank it). https://s3.amazonaws.com/recoverylifemanagement/RLLDecember118.mp4

Well put! I enjoyed becoming still and acknowledging and honoring the person I’ve been in 2018. I’ve opened myself up to the experience of FAITH and now it’s coming in all kinds of ways.

I can not even believe that this year is almost over.
We’ve discussed the Healthy Mind Platter this year as a different way to approach your practice.
And we dug into some Spiritual Psychology Principles and Skills that seemed to really hit the mark for us.
This approach was two-fold. We must create “safety” for ourselves through our practice…[Read more]

The intention is what matters. I often hear people say, I don’t know what this will look like or I don’t know how. Of course, you don’t. The intention will guide your energy and give your energy the attention it needs to blossom into healing. I so relate with the layers of healing. It was great to hear you acknowledge these different pieces. Each…[Read more]

Thank you Bev. I can definitely feel the shift. In the past I would’ve been freaking out wanting to know how to “fix” it vs heal it and needing to know “how”…to now feeling peaceful about not knowing the how, and just peeling it all back and looking at it and like you said having the intention to heal and trusting that it will all unfold how…[Read more]

I’m glad you want to eat it up but sounds like there continues to be an issue. I know that’s frustrating. What are you getting popped out of? The links I shared or the site as a whole?
-
I almost sent you a video. I go to the library>worthiness within-all fine to that point and when I click on Day One. I am right back to the main page that shows my profile and the 4 selections of what group to enter into-RLL. I also think that others should test it because it could be me. I had this once before. I sent a support request in case I…[Read more]

Thank you so much! It feels good to have a place to come and just say that things aren’t okay all the time. I’m okay with not being okay. Yet people around me fight. It’s such a weird thing to “help” other people and then witness how you can’t help some of those closest to you.
-
You have had a week of pouring out, may you be filled back up in the days to come.
-
I totally agree. I’ve been in the “it’s okay not to be okay” place for awhile, but I have family members and coworkers who are fighting it and me over the way I choose to live. Their response to everything is “it’s GREAT, it’s WONDERFUL” pretty much all day long…lol. I just keep saying I love them and accept them and their choices, but I’…[Read more]
