The SAME thing happens to me. When I focus on nutrition, my eating tends to go a bit. For me personally, focusing on nutrition and doing some exercise has given me my best results. We all have to find our way with this. Proud of you for doing this challenge and challenging your mind and body in a new and different way. I think we learns something…[Read more]

Wonderful process you are going through. Decluttering is such a great way to make way for the new. And I love how organized you are being. Sounds like you are really honoring your creative materials. Have fun!

    • Thanks Bev. I have realized that creating can be fun, not an obligation. I also realized that I love research and that has gotten out of hand. I am trying to be more active and mindful of a limited area to focus on. I originally came up with 9 intentions….now I am up to 10. Inner and Outer Boundaries will be number 10. Containment is my friend b…[Read more]

  • How is January going for you? You being kind and gentle with yourself? How we are being with ourselves is truly so important! I’ve been working on my nutrition as it’s always something that comes and goes for me. And that’s okay:) I have been doing intermittent fasting with a group of people for the last 3 weeks and I’m enjoying the structure of…[Read more]

    • I am being tender with myself by tending to my clutter and outdated materials. I spent the last 3 days clearing space in my office. I have an armoire that houses my current usable files/projects. I pulled everything out and customized the space to support my intentions for 2019. I have really given it structure to support the themes, processes…[Read more]

    • So far so good, with only a few minor hiccups. I started a 31 day squat, lunge, and push-up challenge. I’m really surprised at how much of a difference it has made already. My issue is that when I exercise more, I tend to let go a bit on my eating habits, and when I focus on the eating habits, the exercise isn’t so great. I wish I could say…[Read more]

Loving Course In Miracles! It’s got all kinds of cool questions coming up for me.

    Cool insight!

  • How do you know you can trust your perceptions? This came up in the Course In Miracles and find this really interesting. Would love to hear your feedback.

    • Our perceptions are filtered through our own lens which is based on our own individual experiences and learnings of life. So we’ll never perceive the same event or words or actions or whathaveyou in the same way as other people, who in turn will all perceive it differently from us and from one another. So it’s in not trusting my own perception…[Read more]

    • I love what Wes said. I’ve got nothing more to add. I’m just going with that one. Good stuff. I’m going to save it to read later.

What do you think about this message you received?

    • I’d always wondered why I’d felt torn between avoiding other people & expressing myself AND feeling as though I should be connecting with others, even part of me wanting to do so… but not being willing… this was me ignoring, unknowingly at the time, my spiritual being.

Thanks for check-in in Karen. What are your thoughts about the emotions coming up for you? (if open to sharing..) Acknowledging you for finding ways to honor yourself through them.

    • I was reading this morning about how our anger is sometimes a sign that we need to get out of or distance ourself from a dangerous situation. I think my emotions are in response to some emotional abuse I am experiencing from my co-workers. I’m not pushing the feelings away like I used to, or going into “pleasing mode.” I’m taking care of myse…[Read more]

Homework assignment is to come up with an up-level intention you have for each of the topics you want to focus on this year. We are creating individualized plans! Please post what you will be working on each month so that I can get clear on how to support you.

    • I enjoyed the call. Thank you for sharing such good wisdom and the process of connecting to truth. I have written down my intentions and placed them in 3 places in my house. That is a start to increasing the awareness of my intentions so they become a part of my daily— weekly rhythms.

One of my intentions is to focus on spiritual connection…[Read more]

      • I love how your process has been so expressive. Mine has been so mental that I love hearing how you have embraced spirituality and outer expression. So beautiful!

    • Oh boy, this sounds like a big challenge…lol. I’m up for it! Will work on it this weekend and post my intentions.

      • I know you are up for it! See what comes through for you.

        • 1. Mental Health – Intention is to book an appointment with a psychiatrist to explore the possibility of medication if necessary

          2. Physical Health – Intention is to find a new eating plan to try for 30 days, possibly a no sugar plan. I’m looking to kick my sugar cravings.

          3. Mending my family relationships, specifically with my brother -…[Read more]

  • Just got done with my in-person 3 day event! Had some mis-steps but it was an overall incredible experience. We talked a lot about “permission to be imperfect” and it was a great theme for all of this past week. Looking forward to being with you all next Tuesday! How are things going for you?

    • So glad it went well. I love being imperfect 🙂 Doing okay over here. I’ve been consistent with my health goals so far, so I’m happy that I’ve been able to continue this journey and be consistent. Still having some emotions coming up. Been practicing self-care and honoring what is coming up. Wish I could be on the call today, but I’m working…[Read more]

What a beautiful place to be?! Enjoy it ALL.

  • As I was reading everyone’s list, it hit me that you all are moving beyond survival mode. Your topics were a demonstration of you leaning into life and finding ways to thrive versus survive. Love it!

They are just thoughts. You don’t have to buy into them. Or you get to choose what you buy into or not. Great practice.

You are loved and supported here and I’m happy to hear you are going to practice self-forgiveness, connection and change things that aren’t working for you. It’s important that we admit and be truthful with ourselves about how we are showing up. You don’t need to feel bad about it, you can empower yourself to do it differently. I freakin’ LOVE…[Read more]

    • Thanks. I like the list too. Just having acknowledged and written these things out, I’m noticing different ways over the past few days that I’ve been honoring these intentions. Happy for the moment with where I’m at.
