Glad to hear that you know a bit more of what needs your specific attention. I can imagine that’s a relief. Appreciate you sharing!

  • What are some of your unresolved issues?

    • Right now it’s my marriage. Thankfully, my husband has opened up and let me know the specific issues so we can at least know what we need to work on.

      • Glad to hear that you know a bit more of what needs your specific attention. I can imagine that’s a relief. Appreciate you sharing!

    • Food addiction, boundaries with people, but I feel great about a lot of other areas of my life that I’ve worked on and seen growth.

    • Funny, I finally listened to the full replay from earlier this month, and what jumped out at me was under Developing Skills: Taking Responsibility…and practicing self-forgiveness and under Practice: Being kind to myself through choices…which totally relates to dealing with my issues with food. And under Presence: Practicing Neutrality jumped…[Read more]

      • I’m so glad you shared this! Wanting to learn more and more tools can actually be a distraction to acknowledging the unresolved issues and using the tools we have. I loved hearing how the pillars lined up with what you are noticing about your process. And I really enjoyed hearing you acknowledge your growth while you notice some areas of…[Read more]

        • Thanks Bev! I’m going to make a little reminder list of all of the tools we’ve learned here…self-forgiveness, neutrality, etc and put it on my phone so when I bump into something or notice an unresolved issue I can look at the list and see what tool I need to practice as a way of using self-responsibility. We’ll see what happens 🙂

Thank you dear! It’s visibility on a whole other level. I have moments of fear, moments of excitement and moments of calmness. It’s all part of my process and I’m willing to accept it all and do it anyway. Just being apart of the experience feels like a huge win. I’m focused on sharing my light and connecting with others. We all have fears about…[Read more]

  • What’s on the other side of fear? This question was provided to me and I’ve been thinking about this. I’m going to be on stage at the next She Recovers event. I am both scared and excited. I’m really grateful that I have this opportunity. I know I just need to show up, be me and share my light. And that feels good. Is there anything that is…[Read more]

    • I’m considering applying for a new job. It would involve traveling which I love, teaching others about something that I love, and I’m terrified. Afraid of leaving the “stable” job that I have now. Afraid I’ll be lonely and depressed instead of happy traveling. Afraid if I don’t love it that I won’t be able to find another job. Afraid of…[Read more]

      • Hi Jane! What have you decided about the job? I have never had the opportunity to have choices while I was employed. I believe I can imagine the fear because I would be!

    • Also, sooo excited for you to speak at She Recovers!! I saw they had an amazing event last year, and you have so many great things to share you will have a tremendous impact!!

    • That is so exciting Bev about SR!!!! You will be amazing as you always are! Your light will shine and touch many other women! Shine bright!

    • Fear – I have financial fear. I have re-written the story in my journal. I visualize my new story, I speak about my new story to myself. And the fear comes because the ending I have created is not happening. I am not asking for an enormous amount of abundance, just enough to cover my monthly bills. Then the fear would diminish.

    • Not knowing what is going to happen in my marriage is bringing up a lot of fear for me. At first, I started to get into an obsessive mode about it, but have since relaxed into taking it a day at a time and allowing things to unfold as they will.

  • Happy 4th of July…I’m around if anyone needs any support. My words of wisdom today is to be yourself and share your love with others! Here’s the replay from yesterdays call. https://s3.amazonaws.com/recoverylifemanagement/4PillarsTop5Favs.mp4

    • I can’t believe I missed the call! And I could have been on for the last half!

    • Thanks for the replay. I was on vacation last week. Definitely can relate to many things and especially thinking I am taking ownership, yet not truly taking ownership. I did this for many years by going from person to person in a codependent type of “dance” and hoping that they would be the one person to guide me and give me the answers. I was…[Read more]

  • Something that hasn’t been working for me for a while has been spreading my energy too thin on too many things. They have been creative things which has felt good at the time. I’m super excited to be slowing things down, creating ease and honing my energy on creating a specific outcome.

Practice is working, fantastic and sounds like buying into the mind is the area of opportunity. What’s something else you might buy into versus the ego?

    • I’m going to go back and listen to the first Spriritual Psychology call you did about being a spiritual being having a human experience. I can buy into that but it feels like a stretch..

Thanks for sharing this! Great to hear works going well. That’s a great feeling. And also acknowledge your awareness around friends and social life. I’m a bit less intentional around that area myself.

  • What’s been working this first half of 2018? What’s not been working?

    • Work has been working for me in 2018. First year in a long time that I’ve felt successful at work. What’s not been working as well is my social life and friendships. A lot of changes, many that I wanted and some that I didn’t.

      • Thanks for sharing this! Great to hear works going well. That’s a great feeling. And also acknowledge your awareness around friends and social life. I’m a bit less intentional around that area myself.

    • What’s been working is: coming back to my morning practice when I get away from it, running/sweating as many days a week as possible, being more open to people around me and trying to connect more. What hasn’t been working: overthinking, trying to figure it all out, feeling like I don’t belong.
